MP5, can folding stock be put on a MP5 A4?
I've recently acquired a MP5 A4 thanks to Pokey. The gun came with a full stock but I'd like to convert it to a folding stock so it'll be smaller to carry around. Can the MP5 A4's be converted to either folding, slither stock or even no stock (capped)? I realize I will have reroute wiring but someone mentioned that the ends may not fit.
The gun was originally a TM MP5 but was converted already to an ICS metal MP5 w/TM gearbox. |

Yes it can quite easily but you'll also require a extra wire/battery connector long enough to reach the foregrip as you'll have to move your battery location as you've noted. The existing wire from the stock won't be long enough iirc. You can easily build one though with the correct connectors and stereo wire though.
I've got a spare collapsing stock available if you're interested for $45 plus s&h unless you can make it over to Mississauga (near 403/Eglinton) to pick up. |
