ICS M4 Gas block question.

Hello,
I would like to get rid of my front iron sight, but I don't want to miss something. I know how to dismount it, rebuild it.
I was looking at Gas blocks and I wasn't sure... I actually own a ICS M4 CQBR. (ICS47)
There is a piece attached to the sight that hold together the RAS, so I can't get rid of the actual front sight. The RAs is falling apart without it. I am not sure where to find any circular pieces which hold the RAS. Are they sold with gas blocks? Or is it another piece sold separately? I saw some with this piece (http://www.cobraairsoft.com/images/mid/KIT-HKGB-HE.JPG) and some without.
Need your knowledge please guys.
And sorry for my poooor english.

Thx

This one is for RIS.
Can you show me the both ends of your RIS handguard? Cause I bought one and it won't lock tight with my delta ring. I own a ICS M4 (ICS-20 A1 retractable stock). And I bought a Dboys delta ring just to try if it fits, but sadly it didn't. The thread in the upper receiver is a little bit bigger than the delta ring.

I just saw that there is a little screw maintaining the iron sight and the cap together.
I can reuse it I think. Tell me if I am wrong.
Otherwise, how can I choose the good cap?
If you need more picture from the RAS tell me , I'll do more detailed shots if needed.
Thx

You either need to keep the gas block and cut the top of it off to get rid of the sight, or change to a free float rail system.

or
http://airsoftdepot.ca/catalog/produ...roducts_id=248

Hmm actually yes, a low profile gas block would work if it has the proper hole for the screw, to hold on the rail cap.

Oh, your RIS is designed for ICS M4's.. Mine is different. That's why it won't fit. Thanks for the photos.
I think, you don't need the front RIS cap if you'll install a gas block.

Yes, you do. Unless you have a once piece rail system (which he doesn't).
