M9 test numbers......

I recently came across this about a week ago. I did the glue stick or spring block mod. I didnt have a chronie at the time when I first did the mod... but it hurt like a s.o.b. from about 25ft.

Anys got a chronie and here at the numbers from a KJworks M92
These are the highest numbers achieved with different size of blocks using propane with an outside temp of 20c

Stock 290-295fps
1/2" 300-310

3/4" 320-330 the last shot from a 25rnd mag was from 280 to 300

1" 300-390 VERY inconsistant fastest shot recorded was 389, and the numbers were all over the place was not very impressed with these numbers at all.

I am also going to be experimenting with sealing the cylinder to mag rubber better to try to get most of the gas to go down the barrel...... anybody have any ideas???? I am goign to try to build up the cylinder or mag rubber with electrical tape....

I think he jammed something so more gas is going into the barrel.

Ah. Caught a glimpse of his link, but still, sounds somewhat interesting. Kinda like the huge jump (highest 405fps) I get out of my KSC M11A1 with the supressor on.

BTW, nice if he outlined things a little shorter so we can have a quick understanding what he did, without reading a couple pages worth of gobbly-gook.

Sorry about the lack of info but I wasnt about to type out everything I did. Anyways I have gotten a consistant 330+/- 5fps buy takening apart my mag and putting a block under the rubber seal or nozzle rubber. I used a piece of an phone cord. Took one of the wire strands and for you that know the M9 mag its a square rubber nozzle so I just bent a piece to kinda mock a o-ring and then put the nozzle piece back into place. When compared to the other mags I have the rubber nozzle piece stands higher..... meaning I have a better seal. I Chronied it modded mag was 330 +/-5fps and the stock mag was at 310 ish.
