ARES M4 Semi Problem
Hello I have this really weird problem with my ARES M4.
Loaded with BB's, and mag in magwell: m4 on semi it shoots auto. Not Loaded with BB's and mag in magwell: m4 on semi it shoots fine. No mag in magwell: m4 on semi it shoots fine. It is really bugging me so if anyone can help that would be awesome! Last edited by geon02file; November 13th, 2011 at 16:15.. Reason: funny wording |

You have a metal body right?
Your mechbox selector plate is shorting when the pressure from the mag moves the mechbox a tiny bit around. You probably also have a shorted wire somewhere. |

Yep it has a metal body. Sorry what does a shorted wire mean?

It means that one of the wires from your battery is connected to the metal or your body. So when the fire selector touches the metal body, it bypasses the regular current flow and allow the gun to fire.
It might also move the cutoff lever and prevent it from disengaging the trigger block. In short bring your gun to a doc, he will fix it. |
