E1 M28 Questions---Snipers help needed!

Hey guys,
Sorry if this is not in the right place but I need a lot of help. So I'm getting the Echo 1 M28 for x-mas. As you know the m28 slam fires after roughly 500 shots. I want to avoid that problem. I've read that people have replaced the whole piston + cylinder and had the problem solved. Also people have replaced the sears and had it fixed, yet some people have replaced one of the two and still had the slam firing issue. Now should I replace both now to avoid the future problem or wait till the problem happens. And if I should replace them now What parts should I get and where? Links would be greatly appreciated.

Other thing to mention. Has anyone here had or have the E1 M28 and had no issues with slam firing after lots of usage. I know the sears are Vsr compatible. Are the sears hard to install? Thats pretty much it guys. Thanks a lot, Tanner.

generally you should replace the whole trigger assembly .. and said whole assembly should come with the piston to match it ...

if your going to go with a cheaper brand/method and buy the sears seperate of a whole trigger assembly it's a really good idea to get the piston of the same brand so all the engaging surfaces and angles match each other

typically with sniper rifles the easiest (not always the cheapest) is to stay with all the same brand (Laylax or PDI) so everything is made to work together... far more precision involved in a properly working bolt action... it's not like AEGS where you can just cut and file stuff to merely fit and work....

on that note too ... a clone gun will probably have some fitment issues with aftermarket internals ... and you possibly will have to purchase a whole cylinder to match... and then hope that fits the receiver/body properly... etc... etc... and so on...

there is a reason that TM (VSR or L96) or CA (M24) are recommended as the only platform to purchase to upgrade over and over and over again...

however .. the echo1 is gaining popularity in the aftermarket and I have seen at a couple asian sights specific upgrade kits for the echo1
