Hey guys just got a m14... getting back into crack soft. Anyways wondering what bipod attaches to the front nipple thingy? I assume that is what its for. Its the Socom if that helps. I'll snap a pic if no one knows wtf I am talking about.

Those are called flange nuts in most cases.
If I am not mistaken, basically any Harris bipod attaches to that.

If you have the EBR then you can use a basic picatinny bipod

Yea every Harris bipod attaches to that - its actually a front sling mount in most cases.. the bipod has an attachment point with two arms with an inward pin that seats into either side of that mount, and then has an adjustment screw that pulls the bipod and gun stock together and becomes quite tight with no movement in the bipod ones it is tightened.

Thanks guys. Not the EBR. I wish, but I have decided after owning a DSR-1 and about 8 other guns to not go balls deep into this hobby again. It got way out of hand. Gun ADD is a real and serious condition!
