The out of the box accuracy and range is nuts. Had mine out to the field after I got it just to test out, and I was thoroughly impressed.

Must have fixed about 8 of them over the years. Yeah it's a weak point of the desing. Oversizing the screews and locktite helps in prolonging outer barrel life, but it's a mather of time

what I'm doing is just putting the gear box into an empty gun my buddy gave me after i took apart mine i found a giant hole all the way through to the brass barrel were the guide pin goes
