Just don't buy that Can'tire crap
As already said you WON'T have fun with it, especially when you'll realize you'll have wasted 70$+tx after it has broken (because it WILL break, and sooner than later) I'll had my voice to the others and add this: Get a job, gather at least 400$ so you can buy a decent gun + battery + charger and next year or so you'll be set and good to play at games. The other ONLY option would be to buy a Crosman pellet gun and shoot targets with it, if you absolutely want to mess around shooting things. |

As a new player I'll let you know what I was able to buy for $100.
-set of MP5 mags, set of used G36 mags, used (damaged) G36 top rail or -used cheapo vest, two used BDUs or -one trip to the gun doc or -batteries and charger or -ten packs of BBs or -four days of admission at Flag Raiders or -gas money for three games (one was far away) or -a cheapo shotty that broke after a few weeks or -food for about 5-7 games or -one time raping by UPS brokerage fees or -1/5 of my first AEG or -tightbore, hop-up chamber + bucking or -one G36 drum mag or -paintball goggles, facemask and hydration or -Contour HD camcorder (on sale) or -printer, paper and ink to make resumes, get a job and earn a real airsoft budget Personally, I'd choose the last one. I suggest you go to a game and rent a gun to see if you like airsoft. There's no point buying into a sport/hobby if you don't end up liking it. Edit: Everyone beat me to it. I need to stop taking so long to type. Last edited by Jaelommiss; May 24th, 2012 at 20:51.. |

Lets see if I can make this clear:
YOU CAN NOT BUY AN AIRSOFT GUN FOR $100. THEY DO NOT EXIST.

If your intent is to plink in your basement, then just about anything will suffice. However, if your budget of $100 up front is with the intent to go out and play at games, then put it toward a good set of eye protection. Nothing beats having your own solid set of eye pro. Then just rent and play as you can afford it.
