Broken G&P m249 feed tray hinge - common?
So I just got a G&P M249 and it was broken when I pulled it out of the box . I'm planning on returning this, although I'm just curious, is this a common issue with G&P's M249's? The part I am talking about hinges the feed tray to the receiver. I know the hinge is made out of monkey metal which is extremely frustrating as I would say 90% of G&P's M249 is made out of steel. So I'm wondering if this is a common issue with these particular SAWs because I want to get another one but I don't want this to happen again. I'm gonna include the pictures of the part I'm talking about. I cannot believe G&P cheaped out on such a crucial part, but anyways...

I have never seen that before. I both own one, and handled countless others with nothing but great things to say about the quality of them. it looks like you got a lemon, i would return it right away.
