Silly question maybe?
Do sniper rifles have brand markings on them? Reason I ask is a couple for sale locally stating they are one type of gun. Want to make sure its in fact true. |

I know for a fact that Tokyo Marui guns do. I'd also imagine Maruzen and Classic Army do as well; but I personally haven't seen for myself. I've seen people advertise their gun as a TM, when in fact it's a clone. Most springers are copies internally of TM VSR system. I suppose some individuals feel that makes it close enough to call it something it isn't.

Maruzen and TM will have the markings "ASGK" somewhere on the body. Basically denoting "Airsoft Gun Kei" or "Japanese spec"/follow Japanese laws and stuff (Mainly 1 Joule velocity, and other minor side requirements). Not sure about the Classic Army since those are from HK.

I got the CA M24 and want the TM VSR-10 as a second sniper. Are my choice only TM VSR-10 only and no other clones comes close?
I have sent out a few pms to a few dealers and it seems that no one has a TM VSR-10 in stock. |

There's instructions on how to do it yourself in the AV only section. I suggest you take a peruse through there, but keep in mind to follow the letter of the law EXACTLY or you may get slapped down hard.
