Yeah, nothing to worrie about when it comes to the Thompson. last game I was at I spilt a can of coke all over the reciever and down into the selecter switches (someone left it sitting beside my thompson and when I went to put down all my gear I knocked the can over) but lucky for me none of the coke actually got inside the mechbox or anyware on the mechbox) and all I had to do was remove the reciever and run it under water along with the selector switches and clean the trigger off with some wet paper towl and it was just as good as new again. (well good enough to keep playing for the rest of the day) I did a better clean when I got home.

I don't think there's any weather in BC that could spoil a good day of Airsofting. I sure wouldn't mind some more precipitation.

ahh I hate BC. The weather down there is so unpredictible. last year when we went on summer holidays it said it was suposed to be sunny all week and it rain'd everyday straight. and when it starts raining in bc you better get inside quick or pull out your umbrella becasue it just poors for hours.

Erik

P.S how's your guys's feild in BC? any bears around, cuz that would be scary.

Highly doubt any bear's in it. Deer/racoon's & other typical smaller sized forest animals, Probaly, But never really see them. The high traffic of paintballers @ panther keep's them away I guess.

Pic's of Panther

These one's here are hosted on Dman's website:
http://www.airsoft.narius.net/nuke/m...nails&album=14

Some other's are here, belong to Damageinc.
If you can view these one's, they start at the 3rd post down:

Pretty decent sized field. Also has a "city" scenario area & a "dunes" area. Along with another area kinda out of sight, the lower spawn point/base/whatever you want to call it, east of the dunes beside the stream.

Haven't looked for pictures of the North Van field yet but will try & post them if I see any. Enjoy. Wicked pictures guy's.

Poncho-The Thompson is V2 mechbox so it sounds like there is some weather that could spoil it. It drops to -20 and -30 regularly in the winter here. The rain up here is great for air quality and the fires that have loomed around PG the past couple of years. I would gladly share it with you though.

Erik James-PG is actually higher than Red Deer, but really who cares cause I'm positive you guys get colder weather.

BCK I'm not sure that you read where I live. We HAVE bear issues. There are sightings all the time and we all carry whistles so we can signal a sighting/end of a game. You always put someone on your squad who runs slower though so you can get away...sick but true. Thought about carrying bear spray but it might/would most definatly get used on eachother during games. That would add a crazy element.

Is there any kind of warning for mechboxes and tempurature so I don't have to ask the same question in six months? What mechbox hates what temp?

bear spray does shit some times it can them more pissed off then they already are. so i make really really loud sounds. i have not been to a game and see a bear but when i go hiking i carry a air horn . or carry my cooking stuff on my back and let them hit each other. but when worst comes to worst i would kick some in the knee and run like a bat out of hell.

Opps. Does the V6 mechbox have any weahter issues that anyone is aware of?

It would be hillarious to all be wearing bear bells and play a game. Funny untill you get shot up real bad.

Thanks for all the help guys and gals

V6 no weather issues that I'm aware of.
as for Temp...umm coldest ever played by the dragons was -33 in a "Winter Storm" guns last all of 15 minutes before battery juice was gone and the rest of the guns just began to FREEZE due to low temp ( I dont believe I remember what the temp was with Windchill though)... we ended up just hanging by the fire.

but hey it was fun except for the whole having to remount my bumpr on my car thing
