The poor mans chrono

Anyways I have this Element m95 spring not installed yet but bought for cqb purposes .. ive been told m90 have gotten up to 340 .... doesnt look to good for a m95 so should i try and shoot the bottom of the can or just return the spring.. i rather not goto a place shot hot and have to buy another spring.. can i trust these results and this spring ... its keeping me up at night...

You can use that as a reference, but when you went to a game, only real chrono is chrono. Don't tell them "but the pop can told me that my gun is below XXX..."
That won't work if your gun is found to shot hot.

BTW, I hava an element M95 in a KA M4A1 as well, to chronoed to about 380 fps.

The m90 in my g&g m4 gets me 345-350. M100 nets me 390-400 with 0.2's

I've found the poor man's chrono to be decent, but only for the sides and bottom middle.

Thats not good on my part..... THANK YOU i needed someone to tell me what fps they were getting ok so returning it asap for a m90 .......

You will always be safe using a m90 spring. I have a madbull 100 in my KA M4 and it shoots 345-355 when I have perfect compression. My buddy's KA m4 shoots 359-363 or so with a 100. I think you would be safe with a 95 (depending on the gun), but if its for indoor a 90 is always a safe bet and 20 or 30fps difference is no big deal indoors.
