Look at the bottom left, its still marked as "PK-A".

To spot the difference between PK-A and PK-AV, look at the adjustment turrets. the PK-AV has POSP style turrets, PK-A has smaller ones.

Does anyone know what this strappy bit on my bayonet does? It just attaches back onto the hilt of the bayonet, so it doesn't secure it in the sheath or anything.

I'm pretty sure thats to have it around your hand. My Romanian Type 1 bayo has the same thing.
