ultimately, get a knot wet, pull it tight and let it dry and it'll stay nice and tight unless you have a slip knot. I have a simple over-under loop on my WE PDW as the front sling point. been that way since the rail attached sling point broke on me at the start of a 24 hr milsim.
hey like I said, if you like the look of string (paracord) onto youre gun, whitch is held onto by a knot go ahead, like I said my mod is fast simple and free, paracord costs money, takes research on how to install, then after it all it looks 'TACKY' .

I, for one, like the mod, and thought it was a good video. Airsoft is all about dressing up and looking tacticool. It seems very un-airsofter-like to say "My paracord sling mount works fine, why would I put in a solid mount?"
Especially after arguing in another thread about how "that's not real marpat, that's off-spec knockoff that looks like marpat. Yes I know it's comfy and cheap, and you have little use for camo in a skirmish, but how dare you wear it!"

Not that anyone in this thread did that, but I'm just saying that it's not a far-fetched example.

The term tacky is relative on the person using the term.

Neat little mod. Simple and easy to do, even a noob can do it.

I prefer a soft strap though.
