Regarding te G&P viper
Hi,
I am recently looking into the G&P Viper, I have a few questions about it. I googled and did some research on this forum, it does not seem like there are much :S. If someone finds anything and would like to redirect me to some sources it would be great. Here are the externals: -Viper Front Set -Vltor Type Metal Body (MUR) (GP880) -M16 Magazine (130rds) (GP094) -URX Flashider (Clockwise) (FLG004C) -Military 600m Flip Up Rear Sight (GP254) -Polymer Trigger Guard (Black) (COP012B) -Stubby Raider Foregrip (Black) (GP887B) -TD M16 Grip with Heat Sink End Set (Black) (GP711B) -Military Z Type Red Dot Sight Mount (GP524) -Military Type 30mm Red Dot Sight (GP121) -Extended Stock Dual Sling Mount (GP878) -Mod Buttstock (Black) (GP862B) -RAS Slim Rail Cover (Black) (GP413) 1. Does anyone know if normal m4 magazines will fit? I know they will fit m16 magazines for sure since it comes with it. 2. There are really limited reviews on the internet about the G&P viper, I was wondeirng how would the gear hold up? Some people say its good and some people say its horrible. Any comments on the gun are welcomed too I would like to know as much as the gun as possible before my purchases. Thanks!!!!

You may want to remove the link since this isn't the AV area. As for the gun it will take any m4/m16 style mag as they are the same. This being airsoft there may be some fitment problems but for the most part G&P's seem to have fairly big mag wells. I would say the gun is good for the price. It's the same as the other G&P M4 and M16 based guns with different externals. The only thing that you should consider is a re-shim job for the gearbox since they usually aren't shimmed the best.
It should be a solid gun with good externals as long as the gearbox is good from the factory which might not be the case but a visit to any gundoc should sort that out. |

Sorry to hijack, but I came across this gun, the viper, for around 450 I think... Is this gun a decent gun?
