umarex vs vfc
Okay sooo, ive been wanting a vfc 416 for the longest time. Now ive been browsing around and it seems there are only these "umarex made by vfc" types available. So my question is are the umarex ones as good as the vfc ones or are they a cheaped down version made for umarex. (i know alot of other rebranded type stuff is made of crappier materials or to lower tolerances and such)
Anyone have the umarex and the vfc or at least handled both that can tell me if they are in fact the same? Thanks!

umarex does not make anything. They are the license holders for H&K among others. VFC must go through umarex if they want to print trades and use the names in countries that care (US and europe mainly)

Umarex is only a rebrand for the "Official H&K Trades" so it's the same gun but with trades

I believe they are same gun minus trades
! On mobile; sorry for any spelling mistakes or autocorrects!

It will probably, that's the problem with Umarex trades...

Umarex also holds the rights for the external visual shape of the gun - not just for the trademarks themself. Thus, there is no such thing as VFC gun without the trademarks.

Not fully. The US version is the one that has the big warning on the side the asian version doesnt as far as i can tell.
Like so. As opposed to the "OMG dont shoot yer lil sisters eye out" warning like this

I bought mine from toronto airsoft and it has the warning paragraph on the lower receiver, a couple more weeks of playing and crawling around in the trenches it might just be rubbed off.

Have seen some video reviews and such.
Looks sweet but i worry about those plastic top mags. And also sourcing one locally along with parts when needed. I think with the nasty trades on the 416 aeg im likely gonna wind up tryin to find a we 416 gbb and just get trades engraved down the road. Time for gbbr for me i thinks
