Don't fix what ain't broken save the cash for when something does.
If you want to do the new hop up do the research and when you get the hop up do the extra work to make your gun shoot like a champ since you will have it apart anyway

This is to replace the original hop up cushion .

This is a easy thing to install when you got the gun apart. All you need is a bit of time patience a scalpel sharp knife, a dab of super glue and you can have a super accurate gun.

A metal hopup chamber like the one posted is a performance upgrade. I doubt he has a thirst for replacing a part that is anything other than that if not broken. It won't flex quite as much as the stock plastic one(if your stock chamber is in fact plastic) in turn making your shots more consistent.

I can't comment on the quality of that particular part from experience, but a lot of the chambers on the market in that price range are similar. Unless Lonex's quality control suddenly went down the shitter, you should be more than happy with the purchase.

Well its not that my hop up is broken its that its not performing as most would as in my shots are not consistent at longer ranges and it is a crappy plastic one not metal if it was metal I would just follow revokings advice but I was given advice from my local gun doc to replace the stock plastic one and the hup up on my tar is very easy to change probably 30mins if I take my time

First, what kind of ammo are you using, weight and brand?
Second, what's your FPS? How much does it fluctuate?
And third, it's most likely your hop rubber giving you trouble, not the chamber itself

King arms .20 bbs and i am getting .28s soon cause we play in the brush and i need better range
my fps hasnt been chronoed yet and probably but if i can get a good metal one for almost the same price as a rubber then why not a plastic one will crap out eventually

If my memory serves correctly tavors come with a black plastic hop up unit and if you seem to have range issues chronograph with .2's see where you are at for FPS and we can go from there.

Going from .2's to .28's may help some but it may also diminish the range and accuracy that you want with an increase in weight comes the risk of deminished range to a point. Grab a fist full of different weights whenever you have a chance shoot some of each weight through your gun tweaking hop up as required see what your gun likes best and go with what works.

Weight is determined by fps, so up to 360 use .25s, up to 390 use .28s etc
Doesn't look like the chamber comes with a hop rubber, so you're not actually solving any problems.
What you're doing is essentially upgrading the suspension on your car to get better grip when the bald tires are the problem

If memory serves me correctly the TAR-21 had a proprietary hopup chamber. Also If I recall the inner barrel in that gun has some major "wobble" issues. Shimming internal barrel, replacing the rubber on the hopup unit, and moving to a quality weight BB of no less than 0.28g will improve your performance.
