Low Resistance Wiring- Good idea, Bad idea?

Hey guys,

Today I went out and bought some low resistance wire (Military A-grade, insulated/shielded, silver plate, teflon wrapped) for my gearbox. It was on sale, and I figured I may as well pick some up since I was getting other stuff anyways.

I'm swapping over to deans connectors as well. Whenever they friggin' arrive. What can I expect performance wise from these upgrade? Will they actually do anything? I'm aware deans connectors might help my battery last longer, and increase the trigger response, but what about the wiring?

Deans give you quicker response. Low resistance wiring would enhance that I assume bit probably not noticeably.

It's definitely a good idea. Might not be worth opening the gearbox if this is the only upgrade you have planned, but if you're in there anyway...

It's just a small piece of the puzzle in terms of trigger response and battery life but it will help.

Wiring probably won't make much of a difference. Changing to deans will.

Unless you REALLY keep track of how many mags you're getting out of a full battery, or have a chrono that measures ROF, then no you probably won't notice a difference.
If you added a simple MOSFET in there (since you're rewiring the gun anyway), you'll definitely notice a difference.
But it IS a good idea!
use the largest gauge you can fit, typically 16 or 18g
