Bought a new gun and looking for input

Starting off by saying i am a complete idiot currently when it comes to airsoft former paintballer making the switch. i purchased a WellFire APS SR-2 Modular Full Metal Bolt Action Sniper Rifle w/ Scope PKG. As me and a group of friend are going out in august and i would like to start upgrading it however i havnt the slightest idea how to do so or where to even start. So what im asking is for some input and help on getting this meh gun to a decent gun thanks

Why do you want to "upgrade" it without even using it first?

There are a tonne of threads on the subject of sniping, upgrading sniper rifles, why sniper rifles are a bad first choice.. etc on this website you just have to use the handy dandy search function.

Throw it all in the garbage and keep the screws and shell (there are people out there with sniper rifles who's only OEM/stock parts are the screws and shell); then get a new barrel, hop up unit + bucking, sears (V Trigger or Zero Trigger or whatever), piston, spring guide, spring etc. I don't know what's the best these days but anything Prommy or PDI is guaranteed to be high quality then you have to deal with 45 degree or 90 degree piston or whatever (I forget which is better for what) then trigger pull if you want to tune that to be feather light so that if you look at it funny it shoots or if you need like 5 lbs of pressure to get it to go off and all that.

Either that or just play with what you have currently until shit starts to break.
