I think I broke the air nozzle

Hello friends. Help.

Attached I have two pictures I took of my gearbox. I think something broke, and I think it's the air nozzle.

Here's how it went down: I was cleaning my barrel when the piece of tissue came loose and got stuck in the barrel.

[DUMB MISTAKE #1] I used the cleaning rod and tried to free the tissue from the hop-up end by pushing it down the barrel. DIDN'T WORK.
[DUMB MISTAKE #2] For some godforsaken reason, I thought I can get it out if I fired a BB through it.

It worked. The piece of tissue was free. But now, well, see attached.

My guns still fires. How consistently? I don't know. I test fired it twice and both times the bb came out. I didn't want to keep firing in case something else breaks.

Please advise?

when you fired the 3 rounds did the bb just drop out of the end of the barrel?
did your gun make any strange noise when you fired?

because it doesnt look like anythings broken.

Nothing dropped out when I fired it. The BBs seemingly fired normally.
As for strange sounds, yes. The first shot I took when trying to clear the barrel was muffled, then the second shot was a bit louder than usual. I dry fired it once, and it was also a bit louder than usual. That's about it. My test rounds were pretty normal.

P.S. When I slid off the upper receiver, I noticed a big splooge of what i think is grease around where the air nozzle was. I figured something may have exploded.

Did you try actually testing out the gun? That will instantly tell you if something is awry.

Is it usually suppose to be there?

Yes I did. It shoots fine, with nothing seemingly out of the ordinary. I will do an accuracy test soon to see if it has affected anything.

well sometimes some lower quality brands tend to "over lube" their gearboxes.
sometimes it just does magically spew grease out the nozzle.

its like that on all my cymas

So if it works fine......what's the issue?

I'm just being cautious, I suppose.

I tested it and it doesn't seem to have any malfunctions or irregular symptoms. False alarm. Thanks everyone for bearing with me.
