Strange VFC Scar H issue!!!
Hi,
I m running a VFC Scar H, stock, with Tanio Koba twist barrel, I have feeding issue: Feeding alternate between misfeed, double feed, then as pressure decline in the mag, feed well. We see this misfeed, double feed to feed in the video. Feed well around second 30. Video: http://youtu.be/PVHFEpjSpW0 I swapped hop-up and try a prometheus purple (same issue) Does this with stock high cap, VFC mid cap and modified magpul mid cap. It like if the feeding is sensible to the pressure applied by the mag (feed well as pressure decrease (ie mag get empty). 2 local gun docs had a look so far with no success Anyone is familiar with this type of problem? Thanks

My SCAR was super sensitive to hop up rubbers.
I could run a Systema, or a Guarder clear or the stock rubber but nothing else. Put in a stuff rubber and the result matched your video.

Have you tried lubing the mag/bb path in the mags? Seems like it might be an issue with the mags not feeding properly.

Ya, it seems like its just a feeding problem.... Try shooting it upside down, If it feeds better, its PROBABLY the mags

My friend's SCAR-L is getting a similar issue using MAG midcaps and hicaps. It's running R-hop, Guarder nozzle, and Madbull Red bucking.
Did you ever resolve the problem? |

Same here, upgraded a friend's SCAR-H. He has put a guarder clear rubber. Mag is VFC scar-H bnew, and when firing, I'm getting like 4 ~ 5 BBs in one shot. What could have caused this?

I had this prob anytime I overloaded the mags, I started always under 100 per mag and problem went away

I read on some forums that the issue is the bucking. As the stock VFC hop-up mechanism has smaller diameter, so the stock bucking is much preferred.
Thinking of the above, if the issue is several BBs fly out in one shot, then several of them is being loaded in the hop-up chamber when the nozzle retracts back? But how could that happen if there would only be 1 BB in front of the nozzle to push forward?

Mine too, cannot use my A+ studio rubber, had to replace with a Systema one.

Check to see if the nozzle can seat properly into bucking. I had a defective bucking where the nozzle was getting hung up.
