"Indestructible" is not a term I would use, as I'm close to breaking one from repeated nose pliers scratches already.

I'm stuck at the end, when I need to put the tab in the locking end. I can't put it there for the life of me. The pouch is impossible to bend, and so is the end clip. That means that I have to bend the other end, push it down, try to push it in the locking end, then try to unbend it and push it inside the locking end.

A good video I checked helped me right until this point, until he said to bend the locking end, which I physically CANNOT do with the double pouch.

UPDATE:

I somehow got two of my three pouch in there. My thumbs are hurting like hell tho.

"Virtually indestructible" I've mounted mine countless times, that last part is by far the worst. I usually get up to that point then walk away for a while, once my hands stop throbbing I come back and finish. Just try and line up the corners, use the butter knife to open the clip part and guide it in, squeezing and pushing from the top. Hard to describe I guess

Another option is not to worry about interweaving the malice clip between the taco and your rig.

It's not like you need to hang yourself from a helicopter by your taco enroute to your LZ.

Looking for the X2R, DS Tactical in BC has them. Too bad no one in Toronto sells HSGI.

Thanks.

They should fix it. Have a separate item listing for clarity. It could have been their lost if I gave the business to DS Tactical.

2 things I did to make installing the X2R TACOs easier.

1- reverse the shock-cord setup. Back should be in front. The cord retainer should be in front. This will allow the malice clips to pass through only one layer of shock cord. It's the same way like the double decker TACOs.

2- cut the tip of the malice clips. Bevel it on the top and sides so that it will not get jammed like the blunt tip nose of the original. The bevel should be on the flat side of the malice clip IIRC.
