Selling items on Kijiji good or bad?

I have a couple items I would love to sell but I'm not into the whole shipping and paypal thing. I would much rather deal with people near me. Not saying thatri would sell them to young'ns or someone that I deem unfit or just has that shady look. Just wondering if this is a good idea or if I should do it through this site and try paypal and shipping.

the onus is on you to follow the rules of the market, kijiji doesn't allow firearms for example.

the other thing to observe is that you are required to ensure that the buyer is of legal age to purchase whatever you are selling.

It's like putting an ad up for a car and a bunch of crackheads that you highly suspect will use the car in a heist or something turn up to check it out... if it seems sketch, don't deal with the buyer...aside from that, money talks.

Stay away from Kijij, it'll be taken down once they find out it's Airsoft and you are dealing with an accessible site from the public.

I say post up here on ASC, usually, people inquiring will have 'age verified' under their name(s). You can also post local pick ups and such, so you have the last say whether you want the transaction to go through or not.

Good luck!

True enough. I kinda wish retailers would take used guns, make sure they work and take a cut of the sale. But yeah ill work on a nice post for ASC. Thanks.

If your in Toronto, put "local sale only, and cash or EMT only", on your post.

just stipulate local deal only in your for sale thread.

I'm the same way.. not interested in shipping stuff..

all the deals I have ever made were local.. I once sold a gun to a guy in Alberta.. he got someone local to come pick it up and ship it to him.
