Silencer Thread Question
I have he G&G MP5 SD6. I bought the JBU M4 KURZ 'chubby' suppressor but it's not threading on, it's a CCW 14mm, that's what the website said. My silencer that came with the gun turns on CW when facing the front of the gun. Both silencers fit on my friends P90, almost as if he has a universal thread. What can I change on my gun for this to work? Similar to my friends?

CW and CCW...are two different/opposite things...so I don't see how his would be able to have both/either screw on (unless his threads are so stripped that it's not really threading on).
If you're looking down the muzzle (don't shoot yourself in the eye ) and you screw on the suppressor "righty=tighty" then you have a CW threaded barrel...and need a CW threaded suppressor/flashhider/etc... You could get a "gender bender" adapter that will change a CW thread to CCW thread...they typically add a bit of length to the outer barrel though. |

"CW" and "CCW" can lead to confusion if you don't know which way to look at it. You can describe it as "left hand thread" or "right hand thread" to avoid confusion.
You can either get a adapter between CW and CCW, or get a different silencer.

I have a silencer that has both options, different on each end. Try flipping it maybe if it has threads.

Thanks guys. I might try and look to replace the CW part at the front if my gun to a CCW, instead of an adaptor. Then it'll only accept CCW.
