I spent $60 on 12 disposable pea/bb grenades. A lot more fun, but a lot more costly in the long run, as Brian mentions.

Wee bit more dangerous as well. Not every host will allow such grenades.

These are surely something I am working up towards, after experience the "grenade fun" for myself.

Honestly they are good products but pretty useless 9/10 outdoors.

agree, but in that 1 in 10 circumstance... they rock.

outdoors they work better as traps for defensive use.

but used in numbers.. even outdoors they can be effective.. if you have 3 or 4 guys tossing one at one hard target.

Also, I haven't personally found any airsoft grenade that has the bb capacity or coverage that it offers. If you want to compare it to a sound emitting grenade their dd kit does a bang up job. (pun intended).
They have great customer service. I am thinking to buy second one as long as it is on sale.

The only bad thing with grenade.... it is really takes a lot of time to re-charge it. You need to take off cloves and so on. Really you can do it only on break.

It's awesome to hear so many positive comments about their customer service. It is a pain to reload the grenades after use. I carry 2 speed loaders and I have their gas can filler device, I can reload my grenades in just a few minutes. And I use the gas can to fill my pistol mags as well.

Games out this way it's part of the rules that you can not reload them while playing. Only back at base or a CCP.

As you would not be reloading a real grenade in field.

I was just surfing Airsoft Depot and found this;

Airsoft MK2 Grenade (Gas powered)

Has anyone used them? They go for about $35, I'm just curious how effective they are

no comparison to AI grenade with respect to bb spread and force. Better than tossing a stone, but not much

I have one of those. It's possible to mod it so that it works better, but you'll still have problems with the fuse. Mine actually developed a leak so now it's just a paperweight with tape all over it. Don't bother.

i've got an impact tornado and it works well. i play outdoors and found it useful when charging a tower. also as a boobytrap, rest on a branch or hang it from a tree then shoot it with sniper rifle-no more effective than hitting target with rifle but funny as shit! i've put reflective tape on mine to help find it in the bush.

They are key for CQB, I also recommend people stay away from the black ones, lol.

I don't know how many times I hear of the "black" ones being missing/lost.

For outdoors I know people tie nylon strings on them so they can track them in the brushes, but darn, I need to grab me some haha.
