Can you use gear grease to lube a P?
New Polar star owner here. I will be taking down my fusion engine to clean the nozel and poppet over the weekend. Does anyone know if regular gear grease will work as a lube?

Not like you need to lube it regularly, maybe 25-30k shots. You should use grease that is DOW 33.

Frog lube works great too. I use that on 90% of everything. Smells delicious too! Hah.

I sent an email to molykote years ago and got a huge tube of dow 33 light and dow 55 for free
The paintball stuff is 99% dow 33 unless its for non moving orings then its 55. Just don't mix the two or you are going to be replacing O-rings. 33 lubes, 55 causes slight swelling of the o-ring to create a better air seal, again in NON moving orings. |
