How do I switch large tamiya to mini tamiya?
I need to switch a large female tamiya connection to a mini female connection. I do not have the prong tool, and I do not plan on buying it as it is $32 and I'll only use it once. Does anyone know how to do this? I checked youtube and wasn't impressed with the selection of videos they had on this topic.

cut the connector off and upgrade to deans or change it to small tamiya
the prongs in the large and small tamiya are not the same anyway, taking the connector apart won't help |

I can vouch for deans or XT60 too. However this will need soldering I dont know if kyros want to do so. Some wires I had on some of my old large tamyia batteries were just too big for small tamyia connector. Anyway my 2 cents: you want best performance, solder dean connectors. You dont want to bother : just get an adaptor

I did look for connection adapters but they didn't have what I needed. That's why I need to do this on my own. Converting it to a deans would be too much for me right now.
