Best Inner Barrel to use with a R-Hop?

I'm considering installing an R-Hop into my gun and looking for input regarding what would be the best inner barrel to pair with a R-Hop unit. I currently have a VFC HK417 with a stock 6.04 330mm inner barrel, and have room to increase the barrel length with a 250mm suppressor currently installed.

Thanks in advance for input!

Any barrel will work, but for high quality, prommy 6.03
Also, I'd recommend either staying at 330mm or going to ~400-420

any barrel with a squared hop window.

pdi-style cuts are nice for standard buckings, but just dont...cut it...for r-hops.

Hunterseeker ("creator" of the RHOP) refuses to work with any coated barrel (Lonex, Madbull, KM, etc) because he believes that overtime the coating wears down and creates an uneven bore.

If you're baller, go with a Prommy barrel.

If you're frugal, use the VFC stock barrel. It's made out of brass and it'll work. From memory the window is cut pretty straight, so it shouldn't require any modifications. On the contrary, Marui windows are cut slanted so I recommend against them.

Side discussion: Longer barrel does not equal better precision/accuracy/range.

nope not really at all, from 300-550 if all other things are equal (hop up velocity bbs) you wont notice a huge difference, hell my mp5K has a 120 or somethin stupid short like that in it and has near as much range and accuracy as my m4 with a 460 in it
and ya prometheus ftw

and if i can suggest a Prometheus Straight Hop Up Rubber Packing
so yo udont have to worry about shaving the one youve got
http://echigoya-guns.com/guns/index....product_id=509
im sure someplace else should have it too
you could also consider Prometheus Hop-Up Buffer Bridge Type
or Firefly Hop Rubber Buffer
for easier install and simaler results

Honestly, don't bother with a sleeveless bucking. It takes thirty seconds with a razor blade to shave off the mound and the ridge off a conventional bucking. It then takes another 5 minutes for Elmer's glue to dry.

Steps for the bucking:

1. Buy Lonex bucking for 5 bucks.
2. Fill the ridge channel on your barrel with Elmer's glue. Wait 5 minutes for it to dry. Reapply if necessary. You basically want to fill the entire channel.
3. While waiting for glue to dry...
4. Turn bucking inside-out.
5. Cut off the mound and the ridge with a razor blade.
6. Sleeve the inside-out bucking onto the end of your barrel and sand any excess rubber off.
7. Turn bucking right-side out, then sleeve it onto the barrel while aligning what was formerly the ridge with the channel.
8. Turn bucking 90 degrees so that the ridge is now at the 3 or 9 O'Clock position. Finished.

as long as the barrel window is square cut, you can r-hop it.

Even if it's not square cut, you can r-hop it... it's just a pain in the ass to cut the patch to the contour of the window.
