I've used tactile switch in earlier prototypes and I can tell you one thing for sure, they will not survive for long when you pull the trigger extremely hard. When it comes to tactile switches, once the switch is pressed down, any additional force you exert on the trigger will be applied directly to the switch's fragile body. A giant tactile switch like that of the PTW might be acceptable (the Spectre has no room for that), but the smaller ones likes the ones you listed are not.
I've played with 2 out of 3 of the switches in your links and those switches all failed in the "stuck down" position when the trigger was repeated pulled with enough force. Needless to say, sacrificing reliability just for a "tactile click" is out of the question. With the current design of the Spectre, I was able to hit the trigger with a hammer and have the trigger snap apart first while the Spectre hardly showed any signs of damage. |

Bit of an old thread, but I installed one of these in my VFC PDW and it fit like a charm, works fantastic. I love the burst/hold for auto setting and the braking works extremely well, you can basically gut your gearbox and just install this with your 3 gears, pretty impressive unit.
