Bolton is roughly north westerly of urban Toronto by 15km.. Barrie is north, north westerly of Toronto by about 80km, on the edge of Cottage country. Many people commute daily into Toronto from Barrie.

Wear the combat kilt in the proper tradition of Commando in Barrie, and the Mosquitoes, deer-flies and black-flies will likely be carrying your dangly bits away, in little bites at a time, in fairly short order..

The only helpful input I can provide, Mutt, is to suggest you get AV'd when you get here.
Reason being that I've never bought a new airsoft gun. Every single one of my purchases has been through the classifieds here on AirsoftCanada. Not only have I never been screwed, but I've managed to obtain rather a few higher quality guns at prices my poor-ass can afford.
Just today I got a We M&P Little Bird with an obscene number of unexpected extras for only $150. It's such a great little gun that I'm surprised I can stop long enough to check my unreads on ASC.
Point being; get Age Verified, and spend a great amount of time browsing our classifieds.
You'll be putting back into ASC, getting quality at lower prices, and consider that my fellow members may be as perverted about tuning and quality as you are (I'm a chairsofter, so my opinion is merely financial, lol).

When one of your best muckas (friend) and team member also happens to be a highly skilled gun monkey (23 years playing and well he has teched for one of the UKs best known retailers) you don't get away with half arsed, especially when playing every week kit takes some punishing.

I'll put getting AVd on the list of things to do on arrival, not sure how to but I'm sure someone will point me right.

You'll see it in the FAQs for new members.
Basically it means finding an ASC rep in your area and meeting them in person with photo ID to prove you're north of 18yrs.
There are apparently tonnes in Toronto, and Durham. I applied to be one, but wasn't liked in that manner, lol.

Negative. No garish color requirements. Flash-hider is a lame US requirement only.

I'd suggest spending some time doing some reading in the noob section.

Tell you what Mutt,
When you arrive in Bolton find your way south to Mississauga, right by the lake is a Neighbourhood called Port Credit. I can take care of your AV. Then arm you with all the current info on Airsoft, as well as the Dates and Locations for the Toronto AirSoft Convention 2015 (TAC15) Where most of the GTA airsofters converge for the annual show. Google maps will be your friend for a while. Cheers
