Waoh, so impressed, the cycle is smooth and crispy, very nice, sequential. But is it the most sensitive trigger response? If for ipsc use, could adjust it higher based on the first two blank trigger pull and make it more sensitive. But for basic use, it's more than enough. Very nice build! Love it so much....

For what I know the person could handle your gun the best is boringegg. In my hand, I may just have 70-75% perform the best. Would like to see it in action one day!

Thank you I know I could adjust it to be more sensitive but I don't like my triggers that way. I would like to have at least 1lb of trigger pull on all my guns, this gun wasn't made for IPSC or CAPS so I didn't bother tuning the trigger to the lightest setting. One day I'll bring it out

May I ask about that Prime grip? Is it sized to fit a smaller hand or does it feel 'normal'?

I ask because I have largish hands and have been drooling over those Prime micro-pocket grips for some time now.

Dan, the PRIME grip feels like the same size as the regular Tokyo Marui grip on the Hi-Capa. However the feeling of the micro-pocket is just... amazing. Only the type I have a the rough cut micro-pocket (like the real steel). The other micro-pocket ones are really smooth.

Not only do I know how to build a gun, but also restore a gun!
Acquired this Airsoft Surgeon GRP from another member on the forum.
As you can tell it's pretty beat up, some might say its even "f%$ked"!
Here are some before and after shots of a quick wet-sand and 2 stage hand-polish I've done.

Used a dremel tool on cotton pad to lightly buff out the real hard to get spots. Most pieces are 100% back to mirror like finish and corrected.

I got it because of the steel frame and make sure all the parts on it were still original Airsoft Surgeon! I am going to do my own additions to it, so it looks more "epic". Donger cut me a reallllllll good deal on the gun that I just had to grab it off him in an instant! But now I am broke. Really broke. LOL.

That's one nice custom build you have ! I am also building an Hi capa based on a Infinity conversion kit with a Steel Hammer Set, Steel Tumb and Grip Safety, Steel Disconnector and Firing Pin. Probably the same high quality parts but sold under different brand names like Smith Brothers / Shooters Design / Airsoft Master Piece.

Unfortunately i am having installing/fitting problems with the tumb safety. Can i please ask you something about your setup ?

Did you used the Sear included with the Shooters Design CNC Chassis 5 Inch Standard 2011 ? Did you have to do any sanding modification on the left tumb safety or the included Shooter Design Sear ? Was the sear included with the ProHandgun Steel Hammer Set unusable ?

I used the sear included in the ProHandGun Hammer set. Nothing was Shooters Design except the mid-frame.

I used a Shooters Design Sear Spring though. Sear Springs doesn't matter you can get it from any brand.

What is wrong with your thumb safety? Is it stiff or stuck?

ok, maybe explains it why my tumb safety is stuck. I have an GunSmith Bros conversion kit http://www.prog4.com/db/photo/AR2104G.JPG where the sear, firing pin, disconnector, hammer is installed in it's own casing. The provided Sear with this kit has a special pin to install in this casing, so i can't use the sear provided with my hammer. When this sear is in combination installed with the custom hammer in full cock, i am having trouble installing the tumb safety. I looks like it's stuck and doesn't have enough room to Push it down. I have opened a topic for my problem

You have a good mid-frame, that is the advance frame which has the small box inside for the hammer internals. Be-careful when installing the thumb safety. Do not put the left side in yet. Put the right side in first and see if it works. If it works fine loosely then proceed installing the left side. I recall this is an issue, I can ask my friend in Hong Kong about it and let you know how to fix it.
