Question about Ver.7 gear sets
Okay, so I'm doing an upgrade on a CYMA/Cyber gun Famas for a reqular customer of mine. I know all the part compatibility, and am planning my build around that, but having never worked on a Famas before, OR with V7 gears, (which the gun uses), i am trying to sort out myth from fact.
I know that Ver.7 gears use a smaller spur gear, but i have heard that the Bevel and sector gears are standard Ver.2/ver.3 size. is this true? |

V7 gearboxes are only used on M14s.
The TM Famas is a V1 gearbox which has almost no parts for it. The cyma one may have some parts cross compatible withe the V2 IIRC. Here was a nice review of one on here. http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread....ighlight=famas
