*Solved* Help needed with Hi-Capa Infinity SV Custom Tumb Safety and Beavertail Grip install problems.

Hi Guys,

I am trying to build an airsoft pistol which all the parts from the same brand and supplier. The last couple months i bought the following parts online at Prog4 :

- AR2104 Conversion kit for Marui 5.1 SV
- AR1498 Disconnector for Marui Hi-Capa
- AR1992---Thumb safety for Marui :
- AR1991---Grip safety for Marui :
- AR1812---Hammer for Marui Hi-Capa

own spare parts :

- orginal UAC Sear Spring Hi Capa
- Tokyo Marui Grip Safety Sping parts

When i try to assemble the AR2104 Conversion kit middle receiver using
a orginal Tokyo Marui Grip and all the parts mentioned above, i having
trouble installing the Grip safety and Thumb safety.

The hammer is fully cocked back and when i insert the AR1992---Thumb
safety in safe modus it fits fine, but i can't turn the
Thumb safety down to semi shoot modus. It seems to block, but i can find
the cause and the AR1991---Grip safety has no tension. I tried another
sear where the left sear is more up. This one gives more grip but the
problem with the Thumb safety stays the same.

Does anyone has experienced the same situation and how did you solve it ? Unfortunately, i don't know any local (airsoft) gunsmith and i hope that i can solve it and learn about it from the experienced forum members

Thanks for any help !

Unhappy

I have made some photo's of the fitting. Using the orginal SV Frame Sear which is bigger then the Sear included with the Steel Hammer set. This Sear is not made for this frame, because it is using another kind of pin system to hold the sear in the frame.

I think that the build shape of the Steel hammer in combination of the SV Frame Sear is causing the tight fit and is causing blocking the left tumb safety, when i try to put the left tumb safety to shoot modus when the hammer is in full cock.

I tried installing an orginal Tokyo Marui Hammer and it does fit a little better and i can turn the left tumb safety to shoot modus when the hammer is in full cock, but another problem will occur. Sometimes the sear loses grip on the disconnector, probably caused by a loose fit between the TM hammer and Steel disconnector.

I am stuck what to do next any help will be very appreciated !

Problem is solved. The sales contact tried to convince me by mail looking to my photos, that the right tumb safety arm, which sits in the frame to move up and down was to long or i had not the knowledge how to install a tumb safety.

I just swapped the tumb safeties from my orginal Tokyo Marui Hi Capa...these fits just fine in the advanced frame and the expensive tumb safety fits just fine in the Tokyo Marui frame. Expensive lesson learnt : not every custom parts from the same shop fits.
