KJW M4 v2 MOD
Hello all, im fairly new to airsoft and im going to be buying a used kjw m4 v2 gbb. The gun itself looks good however, the barrel length was changed from a stock to a dmr length 6.03mm and the rail is now a 16". Id like to change it back to the original stock m4 7", but i am unsure as to how to do it and how much it will cost me. It comes with a silencer on the gun aswell. Would i need a new inner barrel? where can i find these parts on the kjw website? i live in the GTA (Greater toronto area) any information would be helpful. Thank you

Take a look in this thread for more detailed information: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=96773
However, I'll try answer your question as best I can - hopefully I'm correct on all of this. If you go to KJW's website, you can find the page for the rifle: http://www.kjworks.com.tw/productdetail.php?id=12 And if you click on the "english menu", it will take you to the PDF of the exploded diagram/part numbers (at the bottom): http://www.kjworks.com.tw/photo/13463057573.pdf Then, if you need to order directly from KJW, you can email them and request the parts. They'll ask you to paypal the money to them, and they'll ship it out. I've done it, and it's really good, and fairly cheap. It's hard to say if you'll need to replace the inner barrel, unless it was changed by the owner. Last time I looked into it (unless it's changed), the KJW's come with the same inner barrel length, regardless of if it's the CQB or the regular version (both are the CQB length inner). The current owner may have kept the CQB length inner barrel. |

I dont know the exact name or length of the inner barrel but he said it was a ra-tech dmr length 6.03 inner barrel, if that helps at all. Also am i able to buy aftermarket parts for this weapon? say instead of the stock rail, maybe go with a daniel defense 7"? After thorough research people say, its possible to use AEG parts with this gun. is this true? I really just want a shorter gun that looks like an m4 rather than a m16 dmr.

AEG front end parts work but not without some modification.
Oddly enough I find that my KJW M4 functions best with a CQBR length inner compared to the 430mm. -Grant |
