sniper upgrades!?!?

So I just recently bought a C-TAC CT500LE Pro Sniper Rifle of i friend. He had it for a weekend and hated so I got it for $150. I'm having troubles finding any info on it. I'm aware it's just a modified VSR-10. I want to know what's in it so I don't replace parts that I don't need. As it's a modified version does it already have the vsr-10 piston and trigger upgrade. And I don't know what size of bore the internal barrel is. Please help

Isn't it just an Echo1, Well, or JG rebrand or something?

Pretty much just replace everything with PDI parts. Stock barrel is probably 6.08.

The "upgraded" parts he's talking of are simply metal replacements of the stock pieces. they still suffer from the same terrible design as the stock parts and will fail in short order. The rifles themselves are rebranded WELL guns, which are clones of the TM VSR-10.

Upgrading spring rifles is not cheap, a decent zero trigger will cost as much or more than the rifle, by the time you add a good piston, inner barrel, and hop up it gets expensive. I recommend PDI parts, and stick to that brand, don't mix and match, it results in les than optimal performance.

O ok i see. Ya this is my first sniper gun so I don't know anything really about them if it wasn't for the fact I got it for $150 I most likely still wouldn't own one. So thanks for the help

Bolt action rifles are excellent learning tools for improving your game. But if you want an accurate one, it does cost.
You definitely learn a lot about shooting, ambushing, tailing people, and how people react in firefights though.

Just wondering but where in Rocky is there a shop? I mean I mainly stayed on the "main drag" (if you can call it that) where the Walking Eagle was but yeah....

Well you see i hunt and i know it sounds bad but in my opion i figured that other then the firefight part that there wouldn't be much difference. Should be a bit easier to track as humans have poor eye sight and terrible smell/hearing compared to animals. Lol my "local" shop is red deer. So I usual call both bent barrel and buyairsoft just so I get two opinions on the matter. So ya its not really a local shop I guess
