VFC Bolt catch on Modify gearbox
Has anyone successfully added a VFC bolt catch to a Modify ( or any other V2) gearbox ?
I think it would just be a matter of tapping in a couple screws to hold the bolt catch and spring. Im not sure if drilling into the gearbox like that would cause any problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Entirely possible if you have a drill press and appropriate tap without fear of interfering with the critical components. You will also need to drill and tap an additional screw to mimic the post on which the VFC spring assembly centres on.
Although, the question is - why? VFC gearboxes are fabulous and does not need much to make them stellar performers. |

I just have an empty VFC metal body that has a bolt catch and I want to put the Modify gearbox in it.
Thanks for the advice |

I have a stock VFC mechbox if you're interested that will probably save you a lot of headaches.
PM me.
