Looking for some help/advice (or even a teacher for that matter) on some custom work
Hi I recently picked up a Model Lancer from Gears of War and am looking in to making it into a functioning airsoft gun. I am totally unqualified to do it myself with out any advice but it would be even better if i could get some help from some one experienced in this field. I would pay of course and supply all the inards for the project. If you can help please do.

You would need to find the dimensions of the lancer. Specificallycpearancr in the shell. Then you would need to figure out what magazine fit. Are you looking for a gamable lancer? Or just a prop that pew pews a bit

Look up resin urethane casting. You can make a hollowed out copy of your Lancer if you use this method, and then shove a gearbox inside.
The firts thing you need to find out is what kind of GB will fit in.

If the model is full PVC or something and is not hollow on the inside, you will not be able to work on it. In the event it is hollow, you need to be able to split the model open and install a gearbox. This means attaching mounts and stabilizers for the barrels, while synchronizing it to the model's barrel and trigger assembly on the outside. This is EXTREMELY high tech work that should only be attempted by an experienced hobbyist, or someone with good mechanical/craftsmanship skills. If you are able to show pictures of the model, inside and out if possible, as well as dimensions, you MAYBE able to makeshift some form of functioning gun. By the way, this WILL require you to drill holes inside and outside of it. You might not be able to game with it depending on how strong the model/resin mold is.
