KJW p229 chrome slide and outer barrel.

Does anyone know if they make one for the baby SIG? I know they make them for the 226 and such but I'd like to find one for the smaller gun.

Get some paint stripper, some mothers mag polish (auto section) and about an hour or two of your time.

Visit the cleaning section of your dollar store for some plastic scrub pads and brushes. If you're using paint stripper, scrub it hike it's wet and the finish is bubbling up. Don't let it dry out, or the finish will solidify again and you'll need do add more and wait or it to soften the finish again.

Also, avoid using sandpaper, and going to progressively higher grits. Paint stripper is the easy way. Sandpaper can round off some of the finer edges if you are not careful and can leave gouges which are a pain to remove.

True, but sometimes a little sanding is still needed to get rid of small flaws under the paint or stubborn bits of paint that the stripper couldn't remove.
If you do end up sanding the flat parts of the slide, always make sure to have the sandpaper backed with a hard flat surface to keep it flush, helps keep the sharp edges and avoids rounding the corners.

Ahh gotcha. Any suggestions for a paint stripper brand? I have loads of fine grit wet sand paper so I'm on there.
Gonna be a labor of love this little gun.
