Stock VFC SR-635 AEG Battery Compatibility

Reading some conflicting information and wondering if anyone can clear this up:

Can my STOCK VFC SR-635 AEG support a 11.1v Li-Po? Would like to get the increased A/weight + ROF from Li-Po. Plus I'm an RC guy, so I already have a million Li-Po's

Not for long.

Without a mosfet, an 11.1v Li-Po will wear down your trigger contacts relatively quickly. Additionally, you'll want to install better wiring (16awg) and replace the Tamiya connectors with Deans connectors.

Also, the clear/blue tinted polycarb piston that comes stock in VFC guns isn't the best. The additional ROF that you'll achieve running a Li-Po battery will cause that piston to fail faster.

Install a mosfet, new wiring, deans plugs and upgrade your piston and you should be good to go, to my knowledge.

I am currently in the process of overhauling my VFC collection. Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions.
