TM 5-7 slide release issue?
so i recently purchased a creation metal slide for my tm 5-7.
After installation and a little bit of testing (2-3 games) i noticed that sometimes when my slide locks back , and i try to put in a new magazine the slide will automatically reset itself either too early(before the magazine clicks in) or after the mag is put in. is this normal? is there something wrong with my 5-7?

make sure the inner slide is sitting flush with the bbu portion of the rear inner slide.
It is possible to pop the slide if you vigorously insert the mag, so it's quite possible what you're seeing is normal depending on the force you're using.

Just a warning, the Creation slide is off spec with the hop up unit and actually causes outer slide failure faster. It causes all of the impact energy to push up and out on the slide. You have to sand the front top and sides of the hop up unit in order to prevent this.

Push your hop up and barrel forward in the slide, you'll see it stops before touching the front of the inner slide. Take your barrel group out, and you'll see scratching on the front top of the inner slide and hop up unit. This caused my first 5-7 slide to crack.
