TM recoil bearings

Hello I'm wondering if someone can help me with getting a set of bearings installed in my tm recce recoil. I have the item and they were to have been installed but the tech didn't feel comfortable with doing it. Thanks

afaik recoil shock guns do not use standard aeg bearings/bushings. They are oddly sized. 5.9mm to be specific, and there are no bearings for them, only bushings.

I have the proper bearings from a company that sells only tm recoil items in the UK call eagle6. The install video is up on there page. You have to sand the holes a bit bigger for them to fit. Not my area of expertise to say the least

Bearings bushings smaller than 8mm will break. Even 8mm bearing bushings will eventually fail underneath the spur gear and possibly under the sector gear.

Ok good to know but I would still like them installed instead of just looking at them. If I could get 8mm in there I would. Not sure if that's an option

this is not something someone with a dremel can do, you miss and you've overbored the hole, you aren't perfectly perpendicular your axis will be off center. Also need to countersink the cut as well for the flange to sit into. This is not normal techwork, this is machine shop work.

Oh I was lead to believe that it was simple tech work from the video that is out on the install. Thanks I will look into some more

You really do not want them installed. They WILL break within a few games. 6mm bearings are bad enough. I can only imagine how bad 5.9mm will be.
