M4 CASV RAS on SA58 shortie...

Hi!

I have a JG3000 aka LK58. I find the original ras too expensive and boring, also don't want to put Magpul rails on it (using the went. holes).

It has a rail top cover... soo i thought about putting this on:

What do you think? If somebody already managed this, or have CASV and can measure the inside diameter feel free to comment.

Thanx!

Bought one for 10 usd with many ABS and spiater rails... it fits. Sadly inch diameter red dot with low rings doesn't...

It's in terribly bad state... now redoing surface.

You might want to go real steel for a rail system for that. I've seen them on eBay from time to time from Chinese retailers, so they might not be good for a real SA58, but they'd be just fine for airsoft...might need a bit of modding though.

The UTG real steel rail fits perfectly on the longer CA-based sa58's, but there's very very little available for the short models unfortunately D:

I also heard, that Dream Army's one much better quality than DBoys...
Repair nearly finished... still have to figure out what to do with spiater... usally NaOH cooking worked... this time not really...

Definitely an interesting look! If you still want the proper RIS unit for it, Echo1 sells it on their online store

Is it the photos or is the front of the top rail curbing upwards?

You're right!

It's a bad-old airsoft CASV... made of spiater, I should have to buy a real one for 100 usd... (This was for 9...)
