M14.EBR G&G Flash hider to Suppressor

I've seen it in photo's however I can't for the live of me figure out how they've taken the flash hider off the G&G EBR or M14 SOCOM and mounted a suppressor as the size and tread are wrong...

https://www.google.ca/search?q=g%26g...dHHsrflIm3M%3A

Anybody?

Looking at the blow apart pic on the g&g website, it looks like the castle nut within the flash hider just needs to be unthreaded and it and the flash hider will pull out. Unsure of thread direction or size of castle nut though

the very first picture link in your image search is a thread that explains how that person did it and what the thread pitch and spacing is.

you fail at google.

M14x2.0 is very common in tap sizes. It would be easy enough to get a tap and run it through an existing suppressor threaded hole. There isn't the ideal materal for threading (m14x2.0 is a 12mm drill hole, m14x1.0 is a 13mm drill hole fyi)
But it may hold for a short time.

Cutting the flash hider apart shouldn't be necessary too

You can actually get an adapter specifically for the GR14. No rethreading needed.

I can't find the one for the short variants, but you can get the one for the full-length versions at Buy Airsoft (and a couple other places, but Buy Airsoft surprisingly has the best price)

g&g socom and the full length m14 have different flash hider designs, the full length has one that can be removed but the socom I think it's integrated into the front sight or some other nonsense. The only solution on the socom would be to cut threads onto the flash hider.

Socom has to be machined
