100% silicone oil - Question
New to airsoft, relatively simple question: Would this oil be suitable for AEG/GBB maintenance? https://www.amazon.ca/LifeSpan-100-S...s=silicone+oil

Hard to say, itbdoesnt say the weight of the oil (the thickness)
For basics one would use a light weigh oil for adding to their propane. For gbb and gbbr lubrication of moving parts I personally use ultra slick synthetic. But there are many options. http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...&cPath=117_127 The top one for your propane or for the blow back unit and such. And the ultra slick comes from crappy tire.

I actually have that AI oil. Like 3 little bottles of it. Came with the propane adapter AND oil pump to oil an entire propane tank.
EDIT: Noticed theres another lil bottle that came with the Oil Pump that says Medium 30WT while the others says Ultra Light 1.5WT |

The medium stuff is "grenade oil" for the tornado (and perhaps the new one as well)
I also use that stuff periodically to condition mags and compression parts on pistols and rifles. I'll just drop a drop or two into all the openings that lead to seals (so into the top of the mag with the valve pressed open, into the bbu or "bolt" area and then fire a few shots. The thicker stuff imo helps by staying in place on the rubber bits and filling any imperfections. You can also buy rc shock oil in a bunch of wt. In larger bottles. Then for the ultra slick. I use the multi purpous synthetic. It's good for metal to metal or metal to plastic wear/contact points. To reduce friction and wear. And good in airseal parts like when you put a new piston o ring or whatnot.

Should not cause any problems based on the product description.

Tried shooting the gun, first shot, cloud of gas, emptied the mag and wouldnt shoot anymore. Even tried different mags. Same thing. Im wondering if it was the shitty silicon oil. So of both the 1.5wt and 300wt AI oil which one should I use for gun internals
