Angry Wa Sv Help Installing Prime Slide

Hey Hope Some One Can Help .. I Am Installing A Prime Limecat Slide On My Sv I Have Got The Rails To Line Up And Slide Smoothly But For Some Reason My "gas Block" Does Not Clear The Rear Half Of The Frame Were The Hammer Falls , I Think I May Need To Take Out More Metal Where The Block Touches The Under Part Of The Slide But I Dont Want To Risk Taking Out To Much ..any Advice All I Need Is A Couple" Mm

so the ''gas block'' does not fit into the slide? try this : try to push it into the slide, then remove it and look for marks on the block where it is contacting the slide. remove some material here with a finger file,emery,dremmel or whatever. usually, it will just be edges and sharp corners on the block that are the problem.

Thanks I Have Tried But The Fit Is So Close I Cant Get Any Marks On The Slide..do You Think It Could Hurt To Have The Gas Block Up To High ? I Just Got The Slide And Really Dont Want To Destroy It

sorry, i thought from the sound of your problem, that the gas chamber was not going all the way UP into the slide (riding too low).

do you buy the right slide? there is SCW1, SCW2 and non SCW slides. The gas block design is totally different. Please check what system do you have. Also with different rear sight, the gas block design is different. you better check it through.
Once last thing, Prime requires many mod for installation, which is by far the worst choice.

i made sure i have the right slide i have the non scw limecat custom big "r" cut slide, should fit .. i know about having to fit the slide on the rails of the gun and a couple other mods to do but i have not heard of this problem i might have to give up and pay for it to be installed
