Customs? or BS?

I buy used. I have no idea why sometimes the price difference is five bucks but its used all the way. I don't trust new for some weird reason.

1 question? Im a bit of a newb in airsoft. I had one ordered a 92f springer from the uk, customs wouldn't let it in. What a joke!

A joke?
No, Customs stops all replica guns. It's no joke, it's life.
Besides, we don't want unsupervised minors buying guns from foreign places, then showing their friends/shooting without eye protection/doing something stupid.

True, but than why are people still getting airsoft guns in from foreign adresses into Canada?

On rare occasions, they slip through. For example, Nemesis_83 with his UTG MP5 made it through, however, even Marui Minis get held up every once in a while. It's a risky business, and is NOT recommended. You're probably customs-blacklisted now.

Welcome.
Make sure you use the Canadian Retailers bar at the top. There's a few more, that list is the recommended ones.

One last question. I am looking for some springers, no one stocks them anymore. Do you have any reccommendation for either spring or gas guns?

Look up reviews, they're everywhere. Everyone has their own opinions.
Spring guns are veritably useless, so don't bother (Some exceptions, such as shotguns and rifles. Spring pistols are almost useless.

I completely agree with that. My orders from the US always take longer than ordering from HK. I'm going to pick up my aimpoint replica today. It came from Hong Kong. Barely any delay getting here. I ordered a battery from the US and it took 4 weeks to arrive. Mind you the money I saved on the battery was enormous.

You can buy batteries from your local hobby stores. The batteries we use are the same as the ones in remote control cars.

I have a shipment stuck in customs from WGC since the 14th. I've been calling on a regular basis and can't get a straight answer on a release date. My order is split into two boxes and they're both being held.

Nothing restricted, but customs is running pretty late now.
