Modding an ICS m4A1.

Hi all its endLess here. Any tips or facts on what to buy to increase the durability and performance of an ICS m4a1? Thanks For your help!

Does anyone know where to get a samurai scope for the m4a1 at a cheap price?

Sincerely,

Supercalifragilisticespialadocious. :P

Make sure to note that the review is on versions 1 and 2, not 3.

IF so what types of internal mod did or is going to do to your m4?

Yes, they are version 3.

I haven't done anything yet... and I don't plan to do anything, well, other than a tightbore. That'll be here at Christmas.
I MAY upgrade some of the internals... to make the ROF even faster without sacrificing any durability... haha, no idea why, just too much money on my hands.

No problems yet. Love it.

There is very little if anything at all different then just trades in the different versions. People stress version stuff too much but it is wayyyy overblown. I used the idea of different ICS versions in my reviews thread for lack of a better term to differentiate a few VERY minor tweaks ICS has done over their production process. I highly doubt any new player (or even most experienced players) will tell any performance difference between any of the versions. The only thing they really changed is the screw at the back of the gearbox... Don't get ICS "versions" confused with the different CA versions they ran because they had some vast changes between their versions.

as ert said there is no functional diference between "ver 2 and 3" for lack of better terms. the durabilty is just fine stock. the only things really to upgrade are motor and bushings. but be careful. marui bushings do not work with ics gears and ics bushings do not work with marui-sized gears. if you want more fps, then buy their upper mechbox kits, but get a large capacity battery if you want to run it.
