Springer Upgrading
im a casual airsofter, playing at friends houses on weekends. does anyone have any tips for upgrading a springer, particularlly a UHC MP5 SD3?
m thinking about buyinh the UTG MP5 A4/A4 springer, it's a springer in an AEG frame that can be upgraded with mauri parts, how good would a p140 spring be in a springer gun? and does anyone have any experience wiht reflex sights, are they better then normal iron sights? pm me or post, i really need to know, preferably soon.

Springers are a loss of money, so are springer upgrades.
Nobody sells them in Canada, and you can't import them. Quote:

He's in Phillidalphia. Nuff said.
Best and easiest upgrade for a springer I've found is just to put some oil on the rubber pistonhead. Fps will increase a bit because of the better seal and less friction on the piston moving forward, and will reduce the friction the hop up causes so you get longer shots before the BBs float upwards. |

You can also stretch the spring it comes with for a added fps boost.

in canada, the spring costs almost as much as the gun. stretching it works. old paintball trick from years ago. but it's not a science and may take a bit of trial and error to do what you want it to.
