TM Hi Capa 5.1 VS WA Infinity 1911 5.0

Hey guys and gals

Need a little help, I am sorta on the fence between the TM Hi Capa 5.1 and the WA Infinity 1911 5.0 :kill:

I was just wondering which is the better CQB and back up gun? If there is a difference in say better accuracy at distance, higher velocity, accuracy....stuff of that nature.

Hoping someone has either used both or has both and can tell me which is better.

Cheers

if you want to make it a work horse, i'd get a TM, if you're all about trades and making it look nice, go with a WA. WA parts are more expensive to replace if the gun breaks down, and the overall quality of a WA gun is better than the TM, although TM makes a good Hi-Capa.

If you're planning to get a WA 1911 single stack gun, you'd be looking at an ammo capacity of about 20 rounds (on a new SCW version) or as little as 15 rounds on the older single stacks. TM has an ammo capacity, of about 28(?) rounds.

If you don't care about the money you spend a brand new WA will run you about $400+ whereas a new TM hi-capa can be had for $300.

The new SCW WA 1911 guns are very accurate and have a much higher cyclic rate than the Hi-Capa. And also the heavyweight frame of a the SCW 1911 is very nice in comparison to the Hi-Capa.

But like i said, if it's going to get skirmished, you should get the TM gun. Since most people don't actually skirmish their WA guns, and use them as show pieces, but if you're rich and don't care.... WA all the way!

topics between the TM and WA 1911/2011 quality never seems to end.
i agree with p.phresh though. if you have the money u'll find WA more fun to upgrade. WA is also closer to the real thing.
you might wanna consider the TM 4.3 i held it yesterday at six mm, nice and hefty compared to the 5.1. also cheaper too.

if you are really leaning on the 5inchers, theres more variety for upgrades.

i am a loyal WA fan so screw the TM hicrapa 5.1.

does the 4.3 suffer for accuracy because of the shorter barrel, or is there not really much of a diff?

TM and WA isn't really much of a debate any more for the lucky few of us who were around for the last huge debate about it...

I think the conclusion was: They're different

You can compare a honda and a benz, if you want. But all you'll really find is that they're different. Both can be modified, both can go fast, both can look nice (subjectively), and they both serve the same purpose. But in the end, one is never going to be the other, so pick what you like/what you can afford. (Best comparison I could make...)

TM is a great backup/CQB pistol. Worry free.

WA is a little more ... demanding. But when you upgrade them and work on them, they're the most amazing pistols.

Zo... they're different, go for what you want (assess your priorities)

TM all the way, I love WA for the look but when it comes down to bulit parts and performace TM is much nicer.

I found that its fustrating paying so much for WA then you have to do additional upgrades to them. The kick back on the TM is nice. If your looking for a work horse GBB TM s the way to go. If you looking for a wall show piece, WA is nice.

back in the day WA was the way to go since then, alot of companys have caught up in quality and performance.

hmm...WA and TM..those manufacture are hate eachother. There is two different blow-back engines. SCW Magna blow-back and TM new blow-back system.

Magna (WA) - recoil harder, shootin torque/cyclic rate faster (pre-shoot system).

TM - better accuracy and HOP UPs.

SCW GBB are expensive then TM and it need fix (boil) HOP UP packin (o-ring) to get better accuracy. TM GBB need adjust spring tension of valve to get higher velocity.

TM 5.1 is good skirmish gun. I usually grab my SCW for IDPA-class and steel range airsoft games.
