You say your mature, yet you decide to do several things that scream 'wrong' to me....

Changing your age on your profile clearly shows you are not mature enough to accept the fact that (for the majority of ASC's members) minors, unless having proven themselves 'mature' IN OTHER PEOPLE'S EYES being trustworthy of owning an airsoft gun. Anyone looking at themselves thinks they are better than the truth.

Another thing that seems wrong to me is the fact you decide to buy a handgun first... [Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you will do this, but its what I see in my mind.] since handguns are easily concealed pretty much anywhere on the human body. I could see at some point your friends pressuring you into bringing it to school. I've seen 18year olds do that with CT springers, so it wouldn't surprise me if you did the same. Only difference, CT springs look fake, KSC Glock 19 will come across as a real firearm.

Take Drake's suggestion wait 3 years, or if you really must... show up at games in a year to prove your 'maturity'

OK. Thank you to those of you who actually gave reasons for their suggestions. I will have to think about buying an airsoft gun.

Thanks.

Edit: regarding my age, I dont remember what I did in the application, but when i applied, i was planning on asking a quick question and did not pay much attention the that. I appologize and I dont see how this was a "deke".

The mature thing to do is to wait three years. Period.

You have more chances of finding a unicorn than a brick and mortar airsoft retail store.

Depends on the province. I'm not familiar with BC laws, but it's not out of the realm of the possible that you actually have laws preventing minors for owning and using airguns.

You can't humanly ask a person to know the law in it's whole, along with jurisprudence.

You'd actually be surprised how little comfort that yields if and when you'll look down the barrel of a cop's loaded gun. Don't forget, they'd probably like to be alive by the end of the day, so they don't take chances.

Unfortunatly, so said the other hundred or so other kids that asked the same question this year. Don't believe me? Check the trash.

You want to shoot? Fine, go to CT, they have a wide assortement of quality-esq pellet rifles to sate your hunger.

But don't expect to come into a forum that has strict anti-minor laws looking for ways to circumvent restrictions that we as a community decided to enforce.

It's not that we don't specifically don't like you because you're underage. The point is that odds are you'll fuck up, and someone else (your legal gardians) will be held accountable, along with us.

There are ways to start playing when under 18. They're on the forum. Find them.
